Before KathNiel, JaDine, and LizQuen, there was Kimerald. Their chemistry was first seen inside the PBB House when they joined Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition back in 2006 where they gained a huge following (Gerald Anderson was named Teen Third Big Placer while Kim Chiu was named Teen Big Winner). After their short stint inside the Big Brother house, a new love team was born and they made several hit movies and TV shows together (like Tayong Dalawa and Paano na Kaya). Unfortunately, the reel- and real-life couple called it quits in 2010 and was caught in a controversy that followed them all throughout their careers.

Now, Kimerald fans are given a rare and beautiful chance to have their favorite love team sit down and talk about the painful past in a positive light. In an episode of TWBA, Kim and Gerald admitted that they never had closure. Kim was the first to answer, "yun na nga po eh, walang closure" and even joked upon the realization, "sandali nga magagalit nga ulit ako sayo" which drew laughter from the live audience.

Tito Boy also asked, "siniraan niyo ba ang isa't-isa?" referring to the tough time after the break-up considering that they were a love team for four years. Kim bravely admitted doing it explaining that it was a part of the moving on process. "Oo, di ko naman idedeny sa kaniya yun... Part po yun ng moving on... Pero yung ibang sinabi ko dun totoo, yung iba, sira lang."

Gerald and Kim then gave each other valuable love advice.

It's really beautiful to see how everything heals with time. Years ago, during the height of the controversy, we've never imagined being able to see Kim and Gerald together happy and laughing like this but here we are watching the two make fun of their past. And Kimerald fans are given an extra treat with Kim and Gerald's reunion project, Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin. You can watch all episodes on TFC.tv. Watch the trailer below!
