Leon (Coco Martin), a simple man with simple dreams, finally meets the woman of his dreams in the flesh at the restaurant he has been working for as a waiter. The object of his affection, Angel (Angelica Panganiban), gets her heart broken that night, and she turns to her newfound friend Leon for comfort. They spend a magical evening together, with Leon proposing to Angel. However, Angel leaves Leon the next day without a word. Fast forward to three years later, Leon and Angel cross paths again in Dubai where people go to make their dreams come true. While Leon is still a hardworking man who lives his life with honor and dignity, Angel is now a different woman who believes that money makes the world go round. Leon expresses his disapproval over Angel's ways of reaching her dreams and ambitions, but she remains adamant on doing anything she could to sustain her luxurious lifestyle--even if it means using men to her advantage. As Angel helps Leon figure out his way into the city, he sweeps her off her feet again. But her ugly reality hinders her from fully surrendering her heart to Leon, making her question if she is ready to give up everything she has gained to be with him.
